The fourth stage of the Dakar 2021 can be considered as a transition day. The terrain through which the race passes invites us to think like this as there are hardly any dunes, even more so when the fifth and sixth stages will be really complex when it comes to ‘surfing’ all these dunes. However, lthe fourth day of the 43rd edition of the event is the longest of the rally with 476 kilometers of connection, to which we must add 337 kilometers against the special time. To the joy of many, the stones will not be so present in these tracks of sand and dirt as in the first two days, so there should be fewer punctures.
