Laughter Yoga is about BREATHING, connecting all parts of your SELF and creating a TOOL to manage stress. It is not about bending your body into funny positions. It is about training yourself to laugh in the face of adversity to manage your life in a more positive and productive way. It’s about connecting with others, realizing we are all one energetic being on this Earth, and that we need to be in harmony for our own well-being – collectively and individually! Try it!
These days especially, we must BOOST our IMMUNE SYSTEM – and laughter is a productive, healthy and fun way to do that.
Gather a few friends and set up a computer. Leave your ego and precepts at the door. Have water nearby, dress comfortably and open your mind and heart. Stretch … we will do some of that as well. And SMILE
Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease. Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals.
