The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation has announced it is getting a $3.7 million grant for auto-immune disease research.
Officials from the OMRF said the National Institutes for Health awarded the grant to continue their research into Sjogren’s Syndrome.
OMRF Scientist, Dr. Christopher Lessard received a five-year grant to identify the genes associated with the disease to help with diagnosis and treatment.
